What a month it has been!

Heatwaves, art exhibitions, live music, café takeovers and a host of events, we've had a busy old month here at FBC! 

This month, we welcomed Fabio to the team, who will be running the café from Monday -Thursday, 8am-4pm. You can find out more from the chat we had with him below, and we also launched our new WhatsApp members channel!

'Wimble while you work' 

Join us from 12pm on The Bowling Green on 9th July (Weather permitting) for an afternoon of free bevs, fun, the legendary Eton Mess station, & of course a screening of Wimbledon Semi Finals as we find the ultimate in work / life balance. Working and socialising are all permitted at this event, so if the emails are stacked, but you still need your 'Raducanu' fix, this one's for you!

Ballpoint - Summer Party!

Some of our newest members Ballpoint will be hosting their annual summer party at FBC on 10th July from 6pm - 10:30pm and all of our dear FBC members are invited! 

There'll be food, there'll be drinks, there'll be music.

Meet Fabio, Our New Barista at FBC! 

We’re so excited to welcome Fabio to the FBC community as the new face behind the Canteen. With years of experience and a real passion for quality brews, Fabio is here to bring fresh energy (and even fresher coffee) to your mornings.

We asked Fabio a couple of quick questions over a flat white:

☕ Favourite coffee order?

“When its cool outside, my go to is a flat white, when it's hot outside, it's got to be an Iced Oat Matcha”

What are you most excited to bring to FBC?

“A warm, friendly smile, always, and flexible adaptability as I develop a menu that works for our FBC members! I want the coffee bar to be a space where people feel looked after; where the coffee’s great, the vibe is relaxed, and folks can connect over something simple and satisfying.”

Funny Business Takeover

Funny Business Networking is (in their own words) 'coworking and networking that doesn't suck!' and this month, we welcomed them to FBC to host their coworking session, that included games, forfeits, and even rumours of a naughty corner... The event was a massive success & a nice reminder that work is what you make it, and we can't wait to have them back for more fun soon!
